Mavs Coach Jason Kidd Would Love These Nike Zoom Flight 95s

While Jason Kidd never had a true signature shoe with Nike, the Zoom Flight 95 comes closest to be called his own. The all-time great PG and current Dallas Mavs head coach performed his on-court wizardry in the Zoom Flight 95, with colorways specifically released to match the blue and green Mavericks colors at the time. Now that the Zoom Flight 95 is back at retail, Nike has created a new colorway that suggests a connection with the former superstar athlete.

Arriving in a brand new color scheme founded on white and black, Nike adds a Photo Blue piping and Swoosh embroidery while Roma Green can be seen on the fore-foot Swoosh as well as the interior tongue. More blue is seen on the insoles and the FLIGHT script on the heel pull-tab, while a piano black covers the bug-eye exterior and the outsole. While not a perfect match of the Mavs uniforms of the mid-1990s, these certainly channel that time period when the Zoom Flight 95 was one of Nike Basketball’s “it” shoes of the era.

Wouldn’t it be dope if we saw Jason Kidd wear these on the sidelines during the Western Conference Finals? Would be a nostalgic moment for sure. A release date is unknown but check out the official images ahead and stay tuned for updates.
