An impressive new slew of colorways have arrived on the New Balance 2002R as the modified 2000s runner comes with supple suede colors that’ll make any retro runner fan go ham. The latest offering is this dark olive green hue dubbed the “Grape Leaf” for its resemblance to leaves of the grapevine plant, a common food used in Mediterranean cultures.
Unlike the earlier New Balance 2002R colorways we showed you, these opt for a full tonal upper with matching suede overlays and mesh underlays, while a cream white appears on the laces, the border of the N, and on the midsole. The interior also lends to the “Grape Leaf” look with a dark raisin purple hue on the sockliner.
Currently, a release date is unknown, but these are expected to drop on NewBalance.com in the coming weeks.
