The Nike Air Max 95 “Prep School” Breaks Uniform Policy

The Nike Air Max 95 “Prep School” Breaks Uniform Policy

As the Nike Air Max 95 inches closer to its 30th anniversary, Christian Tresser’s design continues to experiment with materials, color-blocking and themes.

For its latest ensemble, the anatomy-informed silhouette seemingly took a trip to Bullworth Academy as it’s outfitted in the typical colors of a prep school student: muted grey and navy is accompanied by more eye-catching, but still understated hits of green, yellow and red. Iconic Air Max branding on the top of the tongue is replaced with a school crest-like figure, which also lands on the sock-liners. Suede and other classy materials take over the upper, while foam and visible Air make up the midsole. Underfoot, the Air Max 95 “Prep School” keeps things simple and heritage-driven as a pitch-dark arrangement covers the waffle-patterned tread.

Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, and anticipate a Nike.com launch soon.
