The extended wait for the Air Jordan 3 “Fire Red” just got a tad longer. Originally expected to launch on August 6th, the Air Jordan 3 “Fire Red” has been postponed to September 10th, 2022. While it’s not clear why this delay has occurred, these release date changes have become the norm in this day and age, with updates coming even the day before of an intended launch.

Back to the shoes: the Air Jordan 3 “Fire Red” is indeed an original colorway from 1988, releasing on two more separate occasions but with the Jumpman logo on the heel. While those 2006 and 2013 releases are fondly remembered, both lack the Nike Air emblem at the heel —  a detail that has validated all re-issues from Jordan Brand. While production numbers will be high, we expect the Fire Red Jordan 3 to sell out quick as these have been one of the more anticipated drops of 2022.

Again, expect the Fire Red 3s on September 10th with an MSRP of $210.
