Michael Le As much as we praise Vans for their collaborative efforts — from WTAPS to an upcoming partnership with Joe Freshgoods — the brand’s GR output is equally deserving of attention. And with their newest collection, entitled “OG Granny Check,” they’re drawing inspiration from a unique source: grandma’s house.
Specifically, the pack celebrates grandma’s signature crochet blankets, emulating them with three colorways of the Authentic. Atop a canvas base rendered brown, black, and ecru, the selection delivers three different motifs: sunflowers, multi-colored squares, and equally colorful spirals, respectively.
