A Classic Military Look Appears On The Nike Air Max Plus 3

A Classic Military Look Appears On The Nike Air Max Plus 3

Ever since UNDEFEATED graced the Air Jordan 4 with olive green, black, and orange, the military-themed flight jacket look has become a ubiquitous sighting on sneakers. The rugged nature of the colorway has worked well on a number of silhouettes ranging from simple tennis shoes to more intricately modern pairs, and falling right in-between those two descriptions is the Air Max Plus 3.

Re-issued in 2021, the Air Max Plus 3 appears yet again with a classic assortment of materials. Suede and mesh are monochromatically tied with an olive green hue, while a hit of that flight-jacket orange is visible on the miniature Swoosh and the Tuned Air text at the fore-foot. The black covers the exterior armored heel and the midsole, while a gum bottom provides more of that outdoor, utility aesthetic. The construction is indeed consistent with the OG; there are no added heel-tabs, carabiners, or buckles on these.

Nike.com is set to stock these soon for $190; see the official images ahead.
