Michael Le “Inspected By” — especially when it comes to physical products — elicits a sense of comfort, as one can be relatively certain of their purchase’s quality. And for their latest series of releases, Nike is tapping into this very feeling, drumming up a wide range of releases stamped with said phrase. Here, another Air Force 1 has been added to the collection, this pair comprised of clean, versatile earth tones.
Besides the hits of “Pearl White,” which paint every part of the sole save for the browned, recycled tread and the matching stitching, the colorway mainly features shades of tan. Dark Ale Browns highlight the Swooshes across the side, Sesame dresses the lightly tumbled leather of every overlay, and even lighter finishes mark the underlying base as well as the tongue and lining. This premium look is bolstered by the minimal, debossed branding along the heel and the “Inspected By” label printed onto the insole.
