Back in January of this year, Nike ACG maliciously shared images of the Zoom Gaiadome FlyEase, an athlete-exclusive model that the brand said would never see a retail release. But as revealed today, the shoe is actually scheduled to hit shelves, albeit sans the zippered entry.
Save for the lack of FlyEase, the shoe is almost identical to its Olympic counterpart, echoing the very same silhouette. The materials, however, are much more akin to a boot, with thick canvas building out the shoe’s base and intricately cushioned collar, that latter of which is unique to this variant. The TPU cage around the heel and synthetic wrappings, however, are much more familiar as is the sole unit underfoot.
Finished with Nike ACG and GORE-TEX branding throughout, the inline version of the Nike ACG Zoom Gaiadome is slated to release in three colorways. Check out official images of the trio below as we await word of a firm Nike.com release date.
In other news, an Animal Print Pharrell adidas NMD Hu is releasing on August 13th.
