Michael Le Over the course of the last few years, we’ve seen a number of iconic franchises return to the big screen. From Star Wars to Ghostbusters, these films have gone on to entertain an entirely new generation of moviegoers. And in the case of Jurassic World — whose latest sequel, “Dominion,” hit the box office back in June — this is happening even beyond the theater, as the series has also cultivated a long-running collaborative partnership with Reebok.
For their newest collection, Jurassic World and Reebok are once again highlighting some much-beloved classics, such as the Club C and the Beatnik. And while some, like the former, draw inspiration from Biosyn Genetics, others channel the feeling of old age dinosaurs and fossils. The aforementioned sandal, specifically, is made to resemble said relics of the past through both its hardware and colorway, while silhouettes like the Answer DMX, Classic Leather Ripple, and Zig Kinetica 2.5 feel much more alive, mimicking the Giganotosaurus, Velociraptor, Atrociraptor, respectively. Finally, the LX2200 borrows design cues from the Biosyn Valley facility and the Nano X2 Adventure features takes influence from survival gear.
