Michael Le Following a much earlier release in select regions, the Air Jordan 1 KO “Grey Fog” is finally hitting shelves stateside this Saturday, September 17th.
Despite dating as far back as 1986, the AJKO is not quite as popular as its leather-constructed counterpart. And while re-releases of the “Chicago” colorway haven’t done much to move the needle, the silhouette continues to debut new styles every so often. Its latest, the above-mentioned “Grey Fog,” is much more versatile relative to its recent predecessors. Instead of pops of orange and red, the upper here is rendered entirely neutral. The titular grey highlights the overlays across the toe and eye stays, while the rest upper employs a white and cream finish. The branding, from the leather Swoosh to the screen printed Wings logo, then rounds out the design with a pop of black.
