The Fall weather has harkened a myriad of disparate textiles and builds for The Swoosh to inquire on, having most recently employed a brunt of the experimental construction unto the Nike Blazer. Now affixed with a golden medallion hang tag, the upcoming vintage aesthetic of the Blazer Mid ’77 matches its Air Force 1 Low counterpart by including a housing sleeve for the aforementioned embellishment.
Vintage, crisp white leathers stretch across the entirety of the silhouette’s upper panels and forefoot overlays for a blank canvas while Sail laces work their way into the mix above the colorless hue of the tongue. Proffering deep Maroon shades, the sock liner, tongue tab branding and midfoot Swooshes all bear the presiding tone while the latter houses the circular holster for the model’s metallic golden hoops-inspired hang tag commemorating the Beaverton-based brand’s 50th anniversary. Further nods to the hallmark year are present by way of five debossed stars spread across each foot as well as the insoles and back tabs gold crown insignias, concluding with the model sitting atop a clad cream sole unit.
