At the forefront of New Balance’s technologically fitted racing silhouettes, an exclusive version of its heralded FuelCell RC model resides, coupled with the brand’s Super Comp collection utilizing premium tooling. Designed specifically for the brand’s New York City Marathon Collection, the latest iteration of the recently surfaced New Balance FuelCell SC Elite v3 borrows the color palette of the cities NHL and NFL teams.
Evolving from the RC line, the FuelCell SC Elite v3 features an “Electric Red” to “Cobalt” gradient across the upper bootie as the latter blue accent graces the eyelets, medial “NYC” branding and inner nylon lining. Lightly shaded crimson laces sit atop the one-piece integrated tongue construction while graphite hues fill the upper logo and rear pull tab. The NB logo takes up a majority of the sneakers real estate in a rubberized metallic silver offering. Underfoot, a cream colored two-layer FuelCell foam midsole is inserted alongside a carbon fiber plate for a comfortably lengthy ride through the concrete jungle as an additional gradient opposite of its predecessor touches down with the blue tone beginning at the toe box and bubble gum hues splitting towards the heel.
Enjoy official images of the NYC Marathon-crafted New Balance FuelCell SC Elite v3 while we anticipate the pair’s release on October 18th with an accompanying retail price of $250.
