Michael Le The Nike Dunk High has enjoyed quite a bit of attention over the course of the last few months. And following the reveal of several exciting colorways, from the “Lunar New Year” to the “Somos Familia,” the silhouette is putting together a clean and simple look comprised almost entirely of cool tones.
The base sets the mood in its navy leather, which is then complemented by the adjacent tongue, lining, and outsole. Then, over top, suedes build out the Swoosh and overlays, their velvet-like texture painted a much lighter, almost green-tinted shade of blue. And while the brunt of the construction leans towards the darker end of the tonal spectrum, the whites of the midsole and adjacent branding don’t feel too out place.
