The Swooshes sportswear division has found an affinity for the past throughout the brand’s 50th anniversary celebration, harkening back to the original 1984 construction of its Nike Air Force 1 for the division’s “Color of the Month” collection. Continuing to expand offerings for one of its most recently appreciated silhouettes, the Nike Dunk High is taking a trip down memory road, rendering again its OG 1985 build.

Most recently employed via an “Arctic Orange” proposition, the latter canvas construction of the ’85 model is flipped for a collection of textiles including a suede mudguard and overlay, mesh collar and leather base layer. The presiding leather vamp fills with a maroon sampling that’s hue additionally treats the cracked leather midfoot Swooshes while its midfoot panel and breathable ankle collar proffer chocolate brown flavors. Lightening the overall aesthetic, suede embellishments up front sprout shades of “Sail” while the heel counter embroidered with “’85”, its laces and aged midsole comes brushed with a colorful coat of “Alabaster” whereas the tread concludes in the aforementioned dark crimson.
