Jared Ebanks While Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant and co. out in Brooklyn have gotten off to a rocky start to the 2022-23 season, Irving’s technically ninth silhouette with The Swoosh is in the midst of a previewed roll-out as the seven-time All-Star dices up defenses with ease in the flashy outfits of the Nike Kyrie 8.
Having already been broken in expeditiously with Irving scoring a combined 64 points this week in the pair, a watercolor aesthetic ensues across the latest offering. Filling its reinforced upper with a multi-color scheme, the boisterous ensemble utilizes neutral tones to contrast its extravagant selection of hues, coating its suede overlays, laces and midsole in a muted cream shade. Resuming its use of the titular tonal spectrum, a forest green treats the model’s sock liner while a faded tone of marmalade renders along the forefoot’s tread as an accenting purple trim presides above a semi-translucent yellow Swoosh.
