Jared Ebanks Jeremy Scott and adidas have proven a force to be reckoned with, establishing the industry’s collaborative blueprint long before the modernized offerings of today’s joint efforts. Following the two cohort’s first team-up of the year featuring a trio of winged adidas Forum Hi’s, the iconic silhouette sewn from the hardwood is returning to serve as the main body of work for Scott’s latest collaboration with The Three Stripes.
Abnormal aesthetics and titular hues have long since been the main stay of the designer’s long-standing propositions with the German Haus, exploring both in a youthful fashion across the adidas Forum Low and Hi-top construction. Centered on a crisp “Cloud White” base, both pairs indulge in a clad colorless offering with contrasting black tongue tabs before a playful collection of hand-drawn embellishments including the brand’s trefoil logo, stars, hearts, flowers and diamonds come littered across the entirety of the build anchored by light pastel hues. Save its sole unit and sock liner which remain untouched, the latter motifs render themselves into removable metallic charms along the laces for a concluding infusion of character.
