The Nike Cortez Receives A Soothing Treatment Of “Aloe Vera”

Since tapping both Union LA and sacai over the summer to enact titular propositions of The Swooshes 1972 classic, the Nike Cortez has enjoyed a softer tone in palette coupled with warm suede tooling, the latter of which is harkened once again for an “Aloe Vera” accented proposition.

Enacting a near clad-cream outfit throughout its upper, “Sail” shades envelop the midfoot’s smooth tumbled leathers while its toe cap, ridged quarter overlay and heel counter proffers a rough “Pale Vanilla” textile. Color-matching the vintage-hued ensemble through its cracked leather tongue construction, laces and nylon sock liner, a cool treatment of “Aloe Vera” green indulges across the Swooshes and debossed heel tabs. Underfoot, the midsole sections itself diagonally for equal parts of cream and jet-black whereas its tread enjoys an OG gum composition, coupled with tucked away vibrant orange insoles and tongue tabs in conclusion.
