Alongside Derrick Rose, Tracy McGrady’s iconic roster of on-court silhouettes have continued to enjoy the restomod treatment at the hands of the Three Stripes, fit with a retooled Boost midsole while staying true to original 2000s construction. Returning staple colorways alongside exploring all-new storytelling efforts, the latter is harkened for an homage to McGrady’s love for billiards.
Enjoying a simplistic two-toned upper akin to the colorways of the seven-time All-Star’s playing days, the T-Mac 3’s typical patent leather construction is unchanged. Contrasting its dominant “Core Black” real estate with crisp “Core White” accents lining the medial side in an array of verticality, a thin strip amongst the all-black heel lightens the ankle. Affixed to the latter with an 8-ball insignia alongside a quartet of stars on its opposing side, the tongue tab proffers the novelty toys fortune telling beacon reading “Impossible Is Nothing” above a reflective “Bold Blue” base. Finished with an embossed stroke at its midfoot and heel’s logo placements, a bright white sole unit concludes the overall composition.
