The Nike Shox family of products hasn’t enjoyed too many moments in the spotlight over the last handful of years, although a few high-profile collaborations brought the early 2000s technology top of mind in that timeframe. As the Swoosh heads into 2023, it’s looking to expand on the series’ styles, with the latest arriving in the form of a simple black and red look for women atop the Shox TL.
Akin to the pair done by Skepta in September 2019, the newly-surfaced take indulges in a predominantly pitch-dark arrangement throughout the TPU and fabric upper. The piston-shaped cushioning underfoot, however, forgoes any ruby-colored flair in favor of a tonal finish that matches with the bulk of the upper. Contrast, then, arrives via the branding on the tongue label and spine, as well as supporting accents on the outsole, leaving the women’s proposition to enjoy an understated and timeless ensemble.
No firm nike.com launch details have been disclosed by the brand, but the pair is likely to quietly drop in the first-half of the new year. As you wait, enjoy official images of the pair ahead.
In related sneaker news, the Nike Ja 1 debuted on December 25th and is scheduled to hit retailers in April 2023.
