Through the history of Brand Jordan, the NIKE, Inc. subsidiary has brought Michael Jordan’s signature sneakers to sizes suitable for kids. Recently, the Air Jordan 1 Mid emerged in a Chicago Bulls-friendly mix of white, black, and red.
While reminiscent of the “Black Toe” style that helped usher in the original Air Jordan to the market in 1985, the unreleased retro is its own proposition. The forefoot follows heritage-rooted guidelines, whereas the upper and lower heel areas deviate from tradition for a familiar, but refreshing take on number 23’s iconic design. Underfoot, sole units borrow the top-half’s color trifecta, with the tried-and-proven traction pattern boasting ruby-colored flair.
No firm nike.com launch details have been disclosed by the brand as of yet, but that’s likely to change in the first-half of 2023. As you wait, enjoy product shots of the pair ahead.
