Michael Le Birthed in the mid-90s, the Nike Footscape collection was revolutionary for its ergonomic design, which was informed by the anatomy of the human foot as well as the dynamics of natural motion. Armed with a unique, proprietary shoe form, the brand created several distinct silhouettes, from the original Air Footscape in 1996 to the Air Footscape Magista in 2015.
2023 sees the return of one of the series’ lifestyle standouts, the Air Footscape Woven, which has just surfaced in two of its upcoming colorways. Both, though distinct in their respective palettes, incorporate a faux fur construction. The first pair opts for a predominantly neutral arrangement, with black paneling complemented by white midsoles as well as greyed weaves and branding. Its counterpart is much bolder by comparison, as it covers much of its upper in a loud, cow-inspired pattern.
