Jared Ebanks As one of the most widely-regarded hardwood silhouettes from throughout the 90s, the Nike Air More Uptempo continues to provide a diverse array of tooling extended from Scottie Pippen’s on-court endorsement. Now coordinating an Air-infused slide counterpart, the silhouette’s continued inline dominance is set to be followed by a series of canvas-coated propositions.
Pairing its staple leather tooling with a tightly knit base layer, a clad wash of “Coconut Milk” indulges across the entirety of the upper. From its tumbled leather exaggerated “AIR” lettering to the mesh construction of its tongue, the tonal composition comes accented by darkened “Team Gold” embellishments lining the graffiti style letters, nylon laces, adjacent pull tabs and heel’s jewel Swooshes. Underfoot, however, the pair’s molded midsole comes lightened through a hint of “Sail” before a be-speckled all-brown tread brings a warm conclusion to the earthy ensemble.
