While LeBron James continues to dominate the League in his 20th signature silhouette, his son Bronny has meanwhile been dropping buckets across the country for Sierra Canyon in the Nike LeBron NXXT Gen. Alongside his current NIL deal with The Swoosh, the Trailblazers haven’t been the only roster to lay claim to the oldest of James’ kin as the global gaming platform, FaZe Clan, serves as the first collaborative proposition for the cost-effective silhouette.
Cementing the drive from within for both professional gamers and hoopers while establishing the long-standing connection between athletes and gaming, the collaboration uses, “the analogy that just like motherboards buried underneath the shell of technology, all great talent comes from beneath, and we all use different internal functions to power us as athletes and gamers,” FaZe Clan Creative Director Jay ‘JVY’ Richardson said.
Designed in collaboration with the FaZe Clan creative team, the aesthetic of a gaming system’s motherboard coats the digitized upper featuring jet-black webbing atop a semi-translucent shroud. Further embarking on the gaming entities’ synonymous black/red color palette, vibrant hits of red land along the holographic midfoot Swooshes stitched trim, tongue lining and tread underfoot while concluding through the embossed FaZe Clan logo.
Set to release on March 9th in North America via the SNKRS app and FaZeClan.com, Bronny and his teammates will debut the collaboration tonight during Sierra Canyon’s contest against Notre Dame at UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion.
