Introducing the running ecosystem to Air cushioning via its 1978 constructed Nike Tailwind, the silhouette that started it all has since undergone a bevy of disparate constructions and design knives in its over four decades of existence, such as last summers Air Max infused effort.
Now coordinating a slew of grade school-exclusive offerings, a brightened crisp white aesthetic lays claim to the latest construction. Rending a near-clad upper through the leather, mesh and nylon textures choice of blank white shades, opposite ends of the silhouette proffer a stark contrast through its black nubuck mudguard and heel counter. Littering its remaining embellishments with hits of “Safety Orange” the latter ensues across its jewel tongue, lace lace loops and the semi-translucent finish applied to its Air pucks underfoot. The rear half of the silhouette, however, beings to indulge in varying blue hues, lining its counter and eyelets in a dark navy cast while its aforementioned branding and forefoot mini Swoosh enjoy “Royal” fixtures.
