Jared Ebanks A number of Air Jordan offerings are set to debut this month, with February having been kicked off this morning by the Air Jordan 2’s “Lucky Green” ensemble. After introducing the Air Jordan 5 at the top of the year via a women’s-exclusive offering, the silhouette’s “Aqua” association is set to debut tomorrow.
Paying homage to the widely-adorned Air Jordan 8 colorway from 1993, a vibrant wash of “Aquatone” accents touch down along the tongue trim, its ensuing pull tab and sectioned tread underfoot. Dominated by supple jet-black nubuck upper, the midfoot panel and tongues’ semi-translucent vents infuse a lightened touch alongside the spiky midsole’s vibrant “Taxi” contrast. Further illuminated by way of the tongue tabs’ “Silver Metallic” finish, the embroidered Jumpman rounds out the decorations affixed to the Chris Paul extended PE worn during his time as a New Orleans Hornet.
