Michael Le From the New Balance 992 to the Reebok Club C, Packer has reimagined several of the most prolific silhouettes on the market. And for 2023, the storefront is continuing this trend, bringing hints of luxury to the much-beloved Clarks Wallabee.
Associated with the likes of Wu-Tang rapper Ghostface Killah as well as fictional drug kingpin Walter White, the Wallabee is nothing short of a cultural icon. And in Packer’s eyes, the moc toe silhouette, which was first introduced in the early 1960s, lends itself very well to luxury. Here, the boutique has replaced the model’s suedes with an embossed croc pattern upper, emulating the texture and appearance of a leather much more exotic. Two lace options — waxed cotton and rope — as well co-branded, croc-patterned fobs arrive in tow, completing both the “Maple” and “Pink” colorways.
