Throughout the 90s and early 2000s, Reebok was competing with the best sneaker brands on the market boasting its three-headed monster of Allen Iverson, Shaquille O’Neal and Dee Brown. Decades later, with each of the latter athletes having their own legacies cemented in the League and former college campuses, the Boston-based brand is now ushering its iconic hoops lineup into a reimagined era, combining the iconic technology infused within the Omni Pump Zone II with Iverson’s staple Reebok Question.
Having originally crafted the ambitious Reebok Pump Question in 2014 – albeit in a scheme much more akin to its Question lineage – the revitalized take on the pitch-dark, cobbled-together ensemble is closer to a 50/50 construction than the aforementioned. Boasting the structure of Iverson’s silhouette, the Omni Pump Zone’s “Core Black” mesh windows, cream mid-foot TPU overlays and fundamental vibrant orange Pump tab harken to Dee Brown’s 1990 Dunk Contest victory. Finished by the Question’s synonymous sole unit with hexagon-filled cassettes in a “Chalk” coating, a revisioned logo appears along the heel depicting Iverson if he was 6’6.
Releasing in tandem with the brand’s additional reimagining of Shaq as a tennis player with the Reebok Shaq Victory Pump, the Reebok Pump Question will debut next Friday for a retail price of $180. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the pair below alongside our updated store list.
In other news, the 3-in-1 CLOT x Nike Cortez “CLOTEZ” releases this Friday, February 10th.
