The Nike Air Force 1 Low has accomplished a lot since first hitting the scene in 1983. Recently, Bruce Kilgore’s design appeared in a “White” and “Desert Ochre” color combination for Big Kids.
Although the pair might also release in adult sizes in the future, it’s currently only available in Grade School sizing. A “colorless” tumbled leather covers the majority of the upper, but a brownish-orange interrupts at a few points. Swoosh logos on the sides take on the titular “Desert Ochre” tone, as do the laces, inner lining, and Achilles’ heel panel. Underfoot, the color story stays the same as the Air Force 1‘s iconic sole unit favors a two-tone arrangement. Branding and outsoles give the midsole some contrast, rounding out the design.
