The Nike Dunk Low “Timeless” Draws Direct Inspiration From The Zoom Vomero 5

Nike is constantly making references to their own catalog, often drawing inspiration from past releases. The “Timeless” pack is but another vehicle for said homages, comprised of classics made to resemble colorways from beyond their own catalog. The Air Force 1 brought light to the collection with an impression of the Air Max 1 — and now, the Dunk Low is following suit, albeit in the image of the Zoom Vomero 5.

In contrast to its Bruce Kilgore-designed counterpart, the Nike Dunk Low “Timeless” celebrates its muse in more ways than just color. For instance, the mid-panel modifies the silhouette’s very construction, adding a TPU cage identical to that of the runner. The decal along the leather overlays, reflective strip atop the instep, and the touches of bold color only enhance the overall recreation.

Stamped with the part of the Zoom Vomero 5’s tongue label, the Nike Dunk Low “Timeless” should be releasing within the next few months. As we await further updates, enjoy an official look at the pair ahead.

In case you missed it, the Air Jordan 3 White Cement Reimagined is releasing this March.
