The Nike Dunk Low Dons A Classic “Joker” Colorway

The Nike Dunk Low Dons A Classic “Joker” Colorway

The unrelenting barrage of Nike Dunk colorways continues as we get a first look at an upcoming colorway reminiscent of Batman’s most notorious opponent. Featuring bright purple and green uppers above a white base leather and a yellow gum outsole, this colorway comes together to echo a vintage “Joker” look.

A bit of an ironic connection to make on the silhouette, considering the Dunk has become somewhat of a running joke in footwear. An straight-to-outlet sneaker in 2016, it evolved into a wildly popular mainstream sneaker thanks to the epidemic of “Panda” Dunks caused by the profuse restocks on the Nike launch calendar. This seems to have affected the reputation of the Dunk on some level, but this all-time classic will always hold esteem among sneakerheads who idolized the model in the early-2000s.

Whether you’re exhausted of the Dunk or not, Nike will be dropping more and more throughout 2023. This colorway is expected to hit nike.com in late Spring/early Summer, so stay tuned for release updates.
