While the 40th iteration of Nike’s iconic Zoom Pegasus series has yet to receive its official release date, the “workhorse with wings” is continuing to delve out the beginnings of its initial slate of colorways such as this clad “Volt” ensemble.
Having consequentially dressed a myriad of propositions over the past few seasons, the Nike Zoom Kobe 6’s “Grinch” outfit from 2010 now serves as a tonal inspiration for the Pegasus 40’s sixth color blocking. From the knit mesh upper to its Air Zoom sole unit underfoot, the entirety of the upcoming tooling is dipped in a titular monochromatic neon green with further accents dressing the rubberized eye stays and seldom TPU overlays. While the tread underfoot mixes in a myriad of hues through its use of recycled content, a further injection of vibrant shades dresses the various stitched contrasts and Zoom branding in a complementary bright orange.
As we await the silhouette’s official release over the spring, in the meantime enjoy official images of the women’s-exclusive Nike Zoom Pegasus 40 “Grinch” below.
