Social Status Prepares Multiple Colorways Of The Nike Mac Attack

Earlier this year, it was revealed that Social Status would be putting their spin on the Nike Mac Attack. Little did we know, however, that the retailer was preparing not one, not two, but several colorways of the silhouette, many of which were revealed by none other than PJ Tucker.

In its earliest appearance, the Social Status x Nike Mac Attack seemed to be a faithful recreation of the original in not only construction but also colorway. But as revealed by PJ Tucker, the collaboration is deceptively simple in its design, its painted Swoosh, collar, and heel piece wearing away to reveal a hidden underlayer. The fixtures elsewhere, though, are much more understated: while the outsole may alternate — ranging from gum soles to icy bottoms — the upper is neutral through every pair, mixing white mesh with either off-white or light grey leathers. Only the aforementioned elements feature any notable use of color, offering green to orange, dark to light blue, and black to white combinations.

Enjoy a closer look at the upcoming colorways of the Social Status x Nike Mac Attack ahead. At the time of writing this, a firm release date has not been revealed; for now, sit tight and stay tuned for further updates.

In other news, the April Nike SB Dunk Low was just revealed in-hand.
