Michael Le Back in December, adidas gifted us with five special iterations of the Puffylette, each inspired by one of the German sportswear brand’s many icons. Since then, the silhouette — which in and of itself is a tribute, riffing off the historic Adilette slide — has quickly come into its own, preparing new styles the likes of the upcoming “Beam Orange” colorway.
Featuring all the comfort of the Adilette and then some, the Puffylette surrounds the foot in a thick layer of PrimeLoft insulation, bringing the feel and warmth of a puffer jacket to your feet. Here, this padded upper is highlighted in a bold “Beam Orange” hue, complementing that of the adjacent EVA midsole, overlaid stripes, and inner lining. Black, then, rounds out the details, penciling in the striped accents and Trefoil logo that mark the heel.
