Nike Basketball has enjoyed success from its expansive 1990s catalog for years. Throughout the first four months of 2023, the hoops-obsessed cohort has teased a few Air Foamposite One styles, with the latest being the kids’ “Polarized Pink” option.
Exclusive to the youngest sneaker fans in the family, the pair opts for a uniform finish across the shell-like upper. The Nike Little Posite One resembles the adults’ “Pearlized Pink” release from 2012, a year during which fandom for the basketball shoe from ‘97 was at a high. The shoes’ detailing is less defined than on bigger sizes, but the kids’ Foams enjoy an identical color-blocking, as well as all the design cues nodding to Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway. One such detail that has been tweaked on the unreleased “Polarized Pink” is the outsole — the tread enjoys a semi-translucent, cream finish that’s sure to help with natural yellowing that’s plagued past Foamposites.
Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead, as you wait for firm nike.com release details.
