While the Air Max Scorpion still resides in its infancy, the polarizing aesthetic of its sole unit has garnered a growing following of those obsessed with the silhouette’s heavily cushioned ride. Most notably arriving in a slate of tonal ensembles, the Nike Vapormax’s retooled successor has undergone a lively array of springtime hues.
Much like the pair’s most recent efforts, a singular tone stretches atop the Flyknit and chenille construction of the upper with crisp white hues further enveloping the laces, pull tabs and color-matched full-length TPU mudguard. Injecting a seldom yet vibrant collection of tinctures amongst the colorless backdrop, both “Lagoon Pulse” and “Hot Punch” pair together to outfit the back-and-forth stitching of the mid-foot Swooshes and brail-like branding that curtails the tongue and heel. Underfoot, one would expect the exaggerated cushioning system to clean up in a complimentary white, whereas instead the Max Air bubble and presiding tread come cast in a disparate faded mint.
While we await further release details, in the meantime enjoy official images of the Nike Air Max Scorpion “Lagoon Pulse/Hot Punch” below.
