.SWOOSH Prepares For The Release Of Its Latest Web3 Venture: The Our Force 1 Collection

Back in 2022, Nike celebrated four decades of the Air Force 1. And despite the sneaker’s 40th Anniversary effectively coming to a close at the end of the year, the festivities have apparently not yet run their course, as the Bruce Kilgore-designed icon is central to .SWOOSH’s latest Web3 project: the Our Force 1 Collection.

The Our Force 1 collection has been in the making since late 2022, when Nike launched a bracket style tournament to decide between the best colorways of the last forty years. Early 2023, the brand also introduced the “Your Force 1” contest, winners of which would receive not only a $5,000 cash prize but also their own digital AF1 as the well as royalties on future sales of their creation.

Now with much of the groundwork complete, Nike is finally preparing for the 7-step release of the Our Force 1. While they’ve yet to disclose a firm date, the brand has detailed the entire process via social media. First, OF1 posters will be distributed at random to select .SWOOSH members, giving them First Access to purchase. Soon after, all .SWOOSH members will be able to secure their own OF1 box, which can either be kept sealed or opened to unveil its contents. Following the reveal, one will be able to view a gallery of every single OF1 virtual creation as well as collect and trade pairs as they see fit. Each OF1 will provide its owner a number of utilities, such as special access to products, experiences, and more.

More details regarding the release of the Our Force 1 Collection will likely be shared soon. For now, sit tight and stay tuned for further updates.
