Michael Le From their home base in Anaheim, Vault By Vans has linked up with some of the biggest names across the globe, such as Nigel Cabourn and Wacko Maria. And with their latest collaborative endeavor, the brand is once again venturing to Japan, reuniting with Mastermind World for a five-piece capsule comprised entirely of classic silhouettes.
Much like their past efforts together, Mastermind World and Vault By Vans’ latest collection is completely devoid of color. Each of the five upcoming pairs are done up entirely in black and white, with the Japanese label’s branding applied over top in many a different manner. The Sk8-Hi lands in two variations: one incorporates a lightning bolt across the midsole, while the other opts for a more muted execution complete with the “MASTERMIND WORLD” mark along the collar. The Old Skool features a similar duality, with the less electric of the two dressed in multiple skulls much like the accompanying Authentic.
