After endless restocks of the Panda Dunk, it seems interest in the Peter Moore-designed classic is gradually beginning to wane. But with their upcoming releases, the Swoosh is making a concerted effort to change things up, adding to and remixing the Dunk Low in various ways. This newly-revealed pair is but yet another experiment, its cracked leather construction not unlike that of the Air Jordan 1 “Lost & Found.”
The colorway itself somewhat plays into the “Reimagined” themes, as it echoes the look of a “BTTYS” staple: the “Syracuse.” But whereas the latter proffers bright whites along its base and midsole, this pair opts for a slightly darker, greyer neutral. What’s more, the orange finish of the overlays is treated to a slight patina, while the Swoosh, heel tab, tongue label are cracked in an effort to simulate age. Inside, the insole features a similar, albeit screen printed design.
Enjoy a closer look at this “Reimagined” take on the Dunk Low ahead. At the time of writing this, a firm release date has yet to surface. For now, sit tight and await further updates.
In other news, early images of the Air Jordan 1 KO Low Shadow have finally appeared.
