A Burnished Finish Consumes The Nike Cortez In Black And Burgundy

Thanks to a trio of collaborations with CLOT to kick off the new year, the Nike Cortez has seen a steady revitalization that’s soon to be followed by a slate of general releases, including this “Burgundy Fade” aesthetic landing one of the Beaverton brand’s oldest toolings.

Indulging in pitch-dark black hues at the toe, quarter, heel and Swoosh, a burnished effect takes hold with shades of burgundy becoming more vibrant as the polish is worked inwards. Dipping its iconic serrated tread in the aforementioned dark red treatment, a neutral infusion featuring hits of “Coconut Milk” brighten the entirety of the tongue construction and laces before further illuminating the collar and heel tab in hits of light cream.

While we await further release details, in the meantime enjoy official images of the Nike Cortez “Burgundy Fade” below.

In other news, lilac hues recently anchored the Air Jordan 1 Mid.
