Jared Ebanks While general release silhouettes like the Bruin, Blazer and Dunk anchor Nike’s skateboarding efforts, the SB sub-label’s signature offerings present a compelling mix of diverse propositions. Recently, Nyjah Hutson’s third signature silhouette dressed in an all-too-familiar matching of black and gum.
Harkening to a number of OG skateboarding silhouettes with the familiar palette – including the March release of the Nike SB Dunk Low – a clad jet-black treatment touches down atop the abrasion-resistant upper and mesh tongue construction. Peeking through the forefoot’s mesh perforations, white contrasts further illuminate the pair’s branding and midsole while the simplistic composition is finished by a classic gum tread underfoot.
