Bruce Kilgore’s original Nike Air Force 1 design celebrated its 40th anniversary last year, with the sneaker’s low-top version turning 40-year-old this year.
Ahead of summer, the Air Force 1 Low has emerged in a clean “White,” “Sail,” and “Gum” color scheme. Base layers take on a smooth leather build clad in a grey-like tone, while overlays around the forefoot, along the tongue, and across the heel. Underfoot, the midsole favors a slightly-yellowed tint that injects a vintage touch into the offering. Outsoles opt for a semi-translucent brown arrangement that screams “summertime.” All together, each aforementioned component helps expand the presidential sneaker’s warm weather-ready roster.
No firm nike.com release dates have been shared by the brand, but that’s likely to change soon. While you wait, enjoy official photos of the pair ahead.
In related sneaker news, the Air Jordan 4 “Thunder” lands on Saturday, May 13th, in sizing for the whole family.
