Michael Le Following not long after a collaboration with Rone, the New Balance Tiago Lemos 1010 is now linking up with another one of culture’s own: Gino Iannucci and his New York-based skateboarding label POETS.
The POETS x New Balance Tiago Lemos 1010, which is scheduled to release later this month, is an understated take on the eponymous signature. Off-white suedes wrap the shoe along its heel, mid-panel, and toe, complementing the white mesh inserts and matching leathers that sit adjacent. Black, then, details not only the adjacent trims and lining but also the much of shoe’s branding, from the “N” logo at the side to the “POETS” embroidered stitched onto the heel.
Sat atop a yellowed midsole, the POETS x New Balance Tiago Lemos 1010 will be available via NewBalance.com and select retailers on May 22nd. For a closer look at the shoe, see ahead.
