The PUMA MB.02 Lo Pours A Bowl Of LaMelO’s

feature image

LaMelo Ball has been a superstar in the making for years. Achieving both Rookie of the Year and All-Star status within his first three seasons in the League, the third youngest Ball brother has touted an enormous following and brand potential from his signature line with PUMA to last year’s television commercial with Hulu, the latter of which now serves as the latest inspiration behind his first low-top construction of the PUMA MB.02.

Lowering the height of the sidewalls to just below the ankle, the low-top solution doesn’t bear any other significant changes. Inspired by the 30-second spot that promoted a fictional “LaMelO’s” cereal, the upcoming color blocking brings the striking black, white and neon palette of the cartoon box to life. Accenting its crisp white upper with faint grey wing overlays, jet-black hues begin to concentrate along the tongue and collar lining while a marbled aesthetic takes hold of the tread underfoot. Elsewhere, hits of neon illuminate the midsole and heel counter while boldening the “O’s” cereal motif placed atop the upper tongue.

Scheduled to release next Friday, June 16th, in the meantime enjoy an official look at the PUMA MB.02 Lo “LaMelO’s Cereal” below.
