Back in March of 2019, Jordan Brand enacted a trip down memory lane via its Football division, harkening back to the Air Jordan 1’s four original colorways from its 1985 release with both low and mid-top cleated offerings. Four years later, the aforementioned collection has seemingly been teased after recently dealing out the “Black/White” scheme and images surfacing of the famed “Game Royal” colorway now outfitting the Air Jordan 1 TD.
Shifting its makeup slightly, the latter collection’s breathable canvas panels have been ditched in favor of a more true-to-form construction as tumbled leather cures the entirety of the upper. Shifting the iconic “Royal” colorway to its more contemporary composition, crisp white hues illuminate the mid-foot panel, vamp and tongue construction while jet-black accents contrast the vibrant blue overlays. Offered in both mid and low-cut sizing, the two entities can be further differentiated by their opposing blue and white lugged-out treads underfoot.
With two of the four original colorways from the 2019 pack recently making their return, we could see the release of the “Shadow” and “Banned” color blockings over the coming weeks. In the meantime enjoy official images of the Air Jordan 1 TD “Game Royal” pack below as we await news regarding a release date.
In other news from underneath the Nike Inc. umbrella, the Nike Dunk Low “Panda” is receiving yet another restock on June 23rd.
