First rumored in early April, the Nike Dunk Low “Red Panda” has finally surfaced via in-hand photography.
While not an official moniker for the “Sanddrift,” “Rugged Orange,” and “Velvet Brown”-covered pair, the “Red Panda” distinction captures the Nike Dunk‘s color scheme perfectly. Additionally, it serves as another example of the “Panda” Dunks’ lasting legacy.
A combination of fabric and leather materials come together on the “Red Panda” Dunks’ upper, with base layers opting for a terrycloth-like finish. The mostly-dark arrangement that appears throughout the sneaker is contrasted by off white and orange hues around the forefoot, along the sides, and across the heel. Together, each component creates a worthy “homage” to the lesser panda.
