First introduced at the beginning of 2023, the Nike Calm Slide has proven itself to be one of the biggest surprises of the year. Following updates regarding the model’s release date, the initial reveal quickly rose back up the ranks of our most popular stories. But it may soon have to share the spotlight, as the Swoosh will be expanding the family with the Calm Flip Flop.
Ostensibly a women’s exclusive offering, the Nike Calm Flip Flop echoes the design language of its above-mentioned counterpart. The footbed and sole unit are crafted in much the same way, boasting a ribbed bottom and slightly platformed midsole. Above, though, the silhouette trades in its oversized band for a toe strap that runs the length of the shoe, resulting in a shape much rounder than that of the slides.
The Nike Calm Flip Flop will soon be available in a number of different colorways, three of which have been revealed by way of retailer imagery. For a peek at the trio, look ahead; and if you’d like to add a pair to your Summer rotation, sit tight as more information will soon be unveiled.
