The Message Behind A’ja Wilson’s Nike PE: If You Can See Her, You Can Be Her

feature image

Fresh off of being honored with her fifth All-Star selection, A’ja Wilson has been more than primed for the eventual signature shoe treatment from the Beaverton-based brand. Until then, the 2022 WNBA Champion will be headlining The Swooshes’ Cosmic Unity line including her expanded slate of upcoming Player Exclusives.

Releasing her first color blocking to the public in early May, the upcoming pair’s appearance in official imagery all but cements its eventual release. Resembling the differing shades of a fresh-picked strawberry, vibrant red hues envelop the Flymesh upper while a seldom pink inclusion coats the tongue and laces. Complimented by a cream-colored mudguard, Wilson’s personal details appear in a lime green threading that bears #22 within the midsole’s miniature mesh window and inspirational messaging that reads; “If You Can See Her, You Can Be Her”. The cloud-like sole unit underfoot indulges in a separate pastel-based palette as a light baby blue midsole works in tandem with the moss green tread.

Enjoy a detailed look at the Nike Cosmic Unity 3 “A’ja Wilson” PE below as we await further release details in the meantime.

For more basketball-ready toolings, the PUMA MB.02 Lo “Queen City” is scheduled to release on July 7th.
