“Oatmeal” And “Concrete” Share This ASICS GEL-NYC

“Oatmeal” And “Concrete” Share This ASICS GEL-NYC

The ASICS GEL-NYC debuted with the help of Angelo Baque and his Awake NY label in January. Over the last six months, the silhouette has amassed a healthy release roster, which will soon include a clean “Oatmeal” and “Concrete” color scheme.

Mesh base layers are doused in a cool grey tone that resemble the “Big Apple”‘s streets; branding on the sidewalls, collar lining, and accents on and around the tongue also indulge in a “Concrete” finish. Remaining panels deviate in a cream-colored arrangement that falls in line with other summer-friendly styles from ASICS. The performance-oriented sole unit underfoot – which includes visible GEL-cushioning – follows suit, allowing for the traction to keep things simple in a grayscale makeover.

Enjoy detailed photos of the pair ahead, and anticipate an asics.com launch soon.
