Kevin Durant’s retro line with The Swoosh has some exciting plans in the future, expected to return both of the famed “Galaxy” and “Weatherman” colorways of the KD 4. Meanwhile, Durant’s third signature has barred the heavy lifting with the 2010 “All-Star” edition and a crisp white and gold effort having already hit shelves this past year with plans for the return of the “Christmas” color blocking and an all-new ensemble titled after the two-time Champion’s nickname and IG handle.
Durant’s Easy Money Sniper monicker first appeared via an evergreen and white Nike KD 7 in 2014 and now enacts its own composition atop the Zoom cushioned solution. Taking inspiration from the hues of his days in Oklahoma City while pairing them with the tint of a dollar bill, the Nike KD 3 enacts a dominant “Light Silver” tumbled leather upper with darkened “Mineral Spruce” contrasts filling the mesh mid-foot window and Flywire of the forefoot.
Hits of “Metallic Copper” illuminate the KD dial logo on the tongue and game controller buttons affixed to the heel for a lively contrast throughout the circa 2011 model. Elsewhere, the pair begins to indulge in Durant’s easy 30-point deposits on the hardwood through a “Blue Jay” treated Swoosh filled with repeating 100 motifs while the insoles craft Durant’s face into a stream of faux $35 dollar bills.
Enjoy a detailed look at the Nike Zoom KD 3 “Easy Money” below while we await the pair’s expected release on August 9th for a retail price of $130.
