The New Balance 991 Made In UK Dresses In “Sequoia”

The New Balance 991 Made In UK Dresses In “Sequoia”

Constructed with premium pig suede and leather, New Balance’s Made In UK banner has exclusively catered to the New Balance 991. Two years removed from its 20th anniversary, the 2001 construction now exits the Flimby, Cambria-based factory in a dark “Sequoia” treatment.

The rustic brown tint lays claim to a dominant majority of the suede real estate, crafting a fall-friendly offering heading into the end of summer. Complimented by a greyscale background, smooth taupe-treated overlays illuminate the darker mesh underlays while additionally imbuing the laces and split midsole to the neutral accent. The ABZORB-cushioned ensemble closes out the color blocking with “Off-White” hits clarifying the mid-foot N logo, collar lining and front half of the sole unit underfoot.

The New Balance 991 Made In UK “Sequoia” is scheduled to release on August 23rd for a retail price of $230. In the meantime, enjoy a detailed look at the pair below.
